On episode 21 of the Enlightenedhood Podcast, meet Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Kaitlin Soule.
Kaitlin specializes in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness to help both children and adults who are struggling with Anxiety Disorders, OCD, Depression AND those who are wanting to break unhealthy thought or behavior patterns so that they can live a life in line with their values. She has a private practice in Northern California and also does remote sessions to help make therapy more accessible.
Kaitlin launched her Mother and More Podcast and Instagram page (@mother_more) as a way to share her thoughts and insights on motherhood, “the work” of therapy, personal growth, and gives tips and tools to help you live your best life. As a mom to three young children, she brings a realness to the conversation of motherhood that isn’t always found amongst the “parenting gurus.”
Her mission behind her work is to be a part of changing the way getting help for mental health is viewed, to demystify therapy by showing up as a human being first, and encouraging women to break past their limiting beliefs and lean into all of the parts of life so they can live fully into their potential.
Kaitlin shares with Leena how we can manage the stress of motherhood, what to do when our partners don’t support our mindfulness journey and the number one pit we tend to fall into as mothers.
