E24: Creating Space for Representation and Vulnerability

On episode 24 of the Enlightenedhood Podcast, meet founder of @plussizebreastfeeding Suzanne Gillies-Smith.

Suzanne Gillies-Smith is a 30-something first-time mama and founder of @plussizebreasteeding, a community for and of plus size parents practicing breast and/or chest feeding their children. Suzanne is a fiercely intentional person and her approach to motherhood is no exception. The practices of self-awareness and mindfulness have influenced her for most of her adult life, and they take on new meaning as she grows as a parent.

Leena and Suzanne chat about what it means to be vulnerable for our kids, why showing up consciously isn’t easy, and why we need to start having deeper parenting conversations.
