E61: Shadow Work

On this episode of Enlightenedhood, we’re diving deep into shadow work.

Shadow Work Facilitator Victoria Hopkins helps us identify what exactly it is, where to start, how to identify our shadows, and how to release them. Victoria also shares why awareness is one of the most important things for shadow work and how we can avoid letting our shadows consume us as we begin to bring them to the surface.

Victoria offers some amazing advice on how to shift the way we interact with our emotions to create better boundaries and reminds us that our shadows are oftentimes intertwined with our identity, so this type of work is not always comfortable!

As we make our way through this time, if you are having shadows that are bubbling to the surface as we start to slow down and remove the noise, check out day 11 of our 12 days of light on Instagram where we offer journal prompts, mindful actions, and further discussions on shadow work!

Meet Victoria Hopkins

As a shadow work facilitator, Victoria Hopkin's job is to hold space for you as you dive deep into exploring the murky parts of your soul.

2 years ago she was plagued with fear, self-doubt, and anxiety. It was wrapped up in her identity and limited her ability to trust her intuition and spiritual connections. The last couple years have been a journey of deep healing and unlearning old patterns and beliefs. By diving deep into her shadow self, Victoria has been able to overcome anxiety and physical alignments.

Using shadow work as a foundation of her programs, Victoria creates a safe container to dive deep into what is going on BEHIND your emotions. As you reconnect to yourself and build self-awareness around what anxiety or fear looks like in your body, life starts shifting.
