What does it take to live a life of joyfulness?
Living a life of joyfulness may feel very far away depending on your current life circumstances. But to move into a state of joy isn’t as overwhelming as you may think. Even if you currently hate your job, are in debt, feeling unhealthy or unhappy with your appearance, or feeling just generally feeling unfulfilled you can choose to make small, consistent shifts each day to turn your life around.
Creating a happy and joyful life starts with the decision to be willing and open to making small daily shifts. These small daily shifts in our perspective, actions and attitude are the building blocks of our new life. When we are willing, we open ourselves up to the abundant opportunities the universe has for us for us. All it takes is an open heart and willing spirit.
Mantras to help encourage shifts:
I am willing to eat well and move my body in order to feel healthy.
I am willing to observe my thinking in order to feel peaceful.
I’m willing to focus on what I’m grateful for in order to feel joyful.
I am willing to change my spending habits and beliefs about money in order to be prosperous.
I am willing to assert my boundaries in any given moment in order to feel self love.
I am open to receiving love in all ways.
Pick one mantra each day and focus on this. Notice how you can honor this mantra in the smallest of ways. Maybe it’s by drinking more water and stretching today. Maybe it’s by taking 8 minutes to drink tea on your front step so you can listen to the crickets before bed. Perhaps it’s by noticing how often you tell yourself you don’t have enough. It may even just be taking three deep, full, conscious breaths.
Start small. Be consistent. The small shifts are the building blocks of big change.
Change doesn’t happen overnight. Focus on the present moment and what you can do right now, in THIS moment to shift your energy towards joy.
Much love and joy,
